I'm sorry if I constantly compare to World of Warcraft, I'm not comparing the quality. It's simply that I've played WoW for 6+ years, so it's often my basis of comparison when stepping into new MMO's.
I'm wondering what kind of wiggle room is involved in this game when it comes to general builds, power points, and skill useage? How punishing are the later instances if you don't do everything exactly right.
In WoW, every class needs to get a certain amount of points in a certain stat. For example, I mained a warrior for years, we constantly had to watch our Hit Rating. Wondering if Neverwinter has a similar concept.
So far I've found a few skills I use consistently and I've maxed most of them but eventually I seem to be spending points in stuff I won't really use in order to unlock the next tier of... stuff. I'm hoping this doesn't come bite me in the *** later on.
I'm not sure if this was really clear. Let me know if I need to specify one of my points of confusion.
