Is there a way to attach different series of encounters to specific NPC text options?

Example:

Player Talks to NPC - NPC has 3 different response options they can pick

If Player chooses response A - they get series A of encounters ending with the chest

If Player chooses response B - they get series B of encounters ending with the chest

If Player chooses response C - they get series C of encounters ending with the chest

Right now I have the text part but no matter which response they give it is activating series A, B, and C of encounters at the same time, and need to do all of them to get the chest.
