((I am sorry if there is an older post for this, I looked through the first 3 pages and didn't find anything.))

Anyway, I was wondering if there's any debate over best companion for a healing cleric? Or just standard Ioun stone / Cat?

Ioun Stone of Allure without question. There is a cleric regen build which relies on a certain belt, and thus has a slight advantage if you have a cat instead. Though that build isn't used much since the balance patch I think.

Also I recommend the Seal of the Executioner (+478 regeneration, offense slot, lvl 55 rogue only ring) for your stone, as DCs have no regen on their gear normally, and that ring actually have more raw stats than even ancient rings. I think I get 516 regeneration out of just that ring with my 109% stat stone (eldritch runestone).

No debate. Cat or Ioun Stone of Allure.

Cat = Waist slot, min-maxers for both offense and defense, can very very occasionally die (at max level).
Stone = Icon slot + slight bit of Power, much cheaper than Cat, never dies ever, looks cool and unobtrusive.

So, just choose if you want a kitty or a blue halo.
