Quite a few times today my action points just disappeared. This is happening on a lvl 60 Rogue in the preview server. It seems to happen when the action point meter is around 85-90% before combat. I will cast Path of Blades while running in to fight and the meter will go up real fast and reset to 0.
Also, I upgraded my Faithful Initiate cleric companion from green to blue and leveled her up two levels (lvl 22). Her healing has gone down instead of up. She ALWAYS heals for the same amount. Her healing word was healing me for 551 per tick on a normal heal and it would crit for 826 per tick. Now, 2 levels higher, her heals are one point less every time. It seemed like it was lower after I upgraded her but I wasn't able to pay close attention because I was always in combat. After I finished what I was doing I went and let mobs beat on me and I saw the difference. It is definitely less even though she is two levels higher. I have made no gear changes to my character or companion.

re: Faithful Initiate:
Her healing word is a fixed value, per its description - it heals 20% of your max hp bar over 10 seconds (2% per tic, 10 tics. 60 second cooldown).
So the only reason it could heal for less, is if your max hp dropped - and thats a value that fluctuates constantly in NW, mainly due to the campfire buff - the +1 con it gives will cause your hp to change every 15min or so.
So it doesn't matter if you have a lvl1 white version, or lvl30 purple version, its a fixed heal that will never improve.
Interesting it only crits for 50% more.. Guess pets default crit severity is just 50%, and not 75% like players.
And yea too bad ranking her up won't really do anything to improve her healing, but tis how it works. Though I guess her sacred flame heal would get a tiny bit more powerful as her power stat increases (though it heals for next to nothing compared to her healing word anyways).. As that should scale, though I haven't tested it, and what testing I did do showed power has almost no effect on pets (max +power stuff may give a 2-5% increase tops).
So your best bet is just to slot her entirely with defensive stuff to increase her survivability, as none of the offensive stuff has much impact on pets.

Thank you. That explains it perfectly. I should have read the description. LOL. I just assumed her healing would improve with her level (although she heals pretty good anyway). Mostly I am on the test server to see the what happens when I level the cleric to 30 to determine if it is worth leveling any of the companions. I fully expect it to be a waste of time and only level the stone, but I should at least try it before I complain about it.

Small adds cast a spell to burn your AP. I think they are called witherers.
