Need some ideas for my element campaign

I'm going to create a campaign with maybe a prologue that will lead up to the 3-4 quests featuring some or all element types earth, fire, water, wind maybe at the end of the prologue there are 4 doors that lead to an element quest. I dunno just throwing out ideas too
though i cant just create a quest and just fight element stuff go to this room fight more element stuff. I know i did that a lot in my previous quest and just makes it look boring, i need a good idea or good story to go along with it
and i seem to add unfunny comedy bits or dialogue in my foundries, ill try not do that again :P

In one part of my dungeon I've been messing with fog and portals and noticed that if you put portals above some of the fog you can actually 'stand' on it in the air like a platform. Could lead to some interesting ideas with air.
