City of Heroes used this as a level 60 type of advanced leveling system and it worked great on getting people to see all of the games content. They don't have to be overwhelming powers, or game breaking but the type of thing that are fun, do help in dungeons and make the game past 60 have a progression.

Master of Foundry
Complete 100 Different foundry missions that qualify for daily. Power +3% on total health regen.

Master Slayer
Complete 10 Slayer titles and receive +3% damage to monsters.

Master Healer
Win 20 Dungeons as top healer. +3% on heal powers

Master Explorer
Visit every Vista in the game +5% run speed unmounted +5% mounted speed.

Master Dungeon Explorer
Complete every dungeon in game +5% chance of rare drops from mobs and chests.

Epic Dungeon Explorer
Complete every dungeon on epic level +1 Critical Hit chance +2% Critical Damage

Champion of the Dwarves
Complete 10 Fardelver Crypts, Complete 10 Crypt of the King, Win 10 GG PvP matches +1 to Con stat

Tournament Champion
Win 100 PvP matches. +1% defelection

True Leader
Have 5 Companion's reach maximum level. +10% to all companion stats.

The list goes on. None would disqualify players from being on anyone's team yet they would be the type of achievement gamers love to have a reason to grind to. This would increase the number of daily players and increase your revenue as people would be more likely to buy companions and upgrade slots.

It also is an easy end game solution to what everyone is saying. There is little to do post 60. It gets more foundry missions played and high lights your strong points of the game. great Vistas, Foundry and solid dungeons.

Please, no to an Accolade type system. I'm good with titles but NO power gains. I got sick of farming monkeys and all the other HAMSTER on every toon I wanted to level.

They wouldn't be mandatory so why would you care?

Just like they weren't mandatory in CoH but really were. If you wanted to PvP or even excel in the limited "raiding" they set up in that game the Accolades were certainly mandatory.

Press J change to middle tab.

Also, no to this idea. These "optional" things become required 1st for PVP, then later for PVE. I can see it now "LF experienced DC with 12kGS + Master Healer and True Leader powers"
    Foundry - Fight Club? (nw-dluqbofu7)
    - JailBreak (in development)

I hated this in WOI because p2w players would have the top powers from buying zen then buying the next tier. Some had hp + def + attack = op.
    Queen of Dragon Server
    Goddess Uniique, lvl 60 DC.
    PinkSugar, lvl 60 CW.
    Baby Cakes, lvl 60 GWF.
    *******, lvl 60 TR.
    Premium Juicebox, lvl 60 CW.
    Pink Exxxtacy, Ranger

There is NO pvp in Neverwinter.

Need to do something. In my guild we have over 200 level 60's. Most have quit the game within a day or two of hitting it. Most players online are level 10-59 an the 60s who still play stop in for the delves.

All games have progressions. This is an alternative path to straight up gear progression. The numbers are not monumental and truthfully there is already leatism for the 14k gs with stone, comments that you regularly see.

We badly need something to keep the level 60 people playing. I like the potential this game has, but it goes through people very quickly.

Even if I accept your assertion of urgency, a POKEMANS-style grind-em-up is still a very bad idea indeed. It is not content. It is extremely dull.

Been there, done that in DCUO, with the various things you could collect to gain further moves. It was stultifyingly tedious, like a cross between Skrillex and accountancy.

the big hole in your idea is some f the existing titles you can actually outlevel by missing the skirmish this makes people upset. and you don't want to give any bonus that people will feel a NEED to get to stay balanced in raids/pvp like speed or defence.

now sto does have a thing if you get a slayer title you get a small bonus against that particular foe. since your obviously an expert at that foe and fight it a lot....

and I can see cosmetic accolades like if you get 10 pets to 15(the green max) you get a free green pet (like the skunk in wow)
10 pets to the blue max you get a free blue pet...ect as you obviously like the pet game an it wont be unbalanced as your getting the same type of pet you have 10 of.

Crafting already gives bonuses for maxing 3 crafting skills....

id avoid any power accolade for maps skirmishes and dungeons as they are easy to outlevel id also avoid accolades for invoking.

Any accolade for MAKING foundry mission is just asking for it as if its based on rankings people will complain over rank griefing if its based on bulk, people can cheese through it with cruddy maps that have just enough content to meet they badges requirments.

maybe an accolade for doing dailes that opens a special daily mission.

an accolade for pvp maybe would be a ranking title and a 1% glory boost but this would have to be fore doing things that wont encourage botting or camping.

but my point is if there are title powers they should be very specific to the type of grind that is being done so people who do not like that aspect will not feel as much need to do them. this game could be played very differently depending on what people liked for example if people wernt so worried about zone map badges/quest bags they could hit different zones with different chars making replay more fun.

ie my mage is focusing on ebon downs, ice spire for hearted badges, my rogue is prioritizing helms hold and whispering caverns for strong headed and silent, my drow(GF) will focus on velosk for leader of the pack and rothe(arachnophile)]

not to say my chars wont do other content but by skipping zones I can do some foundry invoke and pvp without worrying about missing things. and im trying to get all skirmishes just in case.

I hate this idea. I don't want to see everybody running around with the same title which is the most overpowered.

I hate this idea. I don't want to see everybody running around with the same title which is the most overpowered.

If each title only adds a small bonus to something and has a number of alternatives, then there shouldn't be any real problem. Titles in this game are relatively easy to get, meaning you wouldn't need to grind monkeys unless you purposely skipped killing the monkeys needed to progress the quest line. The only big change needed would be the ability to do skirmishes that you've outleveled, so that everyone has an equal chance at titles.

Ex: 5 titles that gives +1% crit chance, 5 titles that give +1% deflect, etc. etc.

It'd also be interesting if slayer titles would give around 5% damage bonus against the monster race, while Master of Monsters gave 2.5% damage bonus against all monsters(not players).

The way I've seen it work in other games, though, was the titles had a time limit for effects per day. They could also choose when to use the effect, allowing them to wear titles without wasting the effect.
