Does new companion upgrade remove slotted runestones?

The upgrade for armorsmithing when doing reinforced version destroys the current enchantment stone. Was wondering if you use the tome to upgrade a companion , will all 3 binded runestones and 3 items slots be destroyed ?

    As far as I am aware, no. The reason the item enchants were removed, is because when the reinforced item is made, the non-reinforced version is destroyed.

    Thats good to hear, was sad to see enchantments destroyed with no warning on gloves. Hope the info is correct !

    I upgraded my Ioun Stone. Everything on it was left intact.

    Good to hear that the upgrade does not remove existing runes :)
