I tried the perma stealth build and after a few days went back to executioner because I knew it wasn't intended for us to fight from stealth with near 100% uptime. Went back to executioners spec.
The Lurkers Assault nerf is big, huge in PVE, not such a big deal for PVP. As a daily I never found it was up enough to be something my playstyle was built around or needed. Really any move that isn't usable for minutes at a time shouldn't be the hinge you need to dominate.
I don't see how the needs are going to drastically effect me stabbing necks and generally wrecking in PVP. The big question is ... will it stop the constant bombardment of being told I am just OP and have no skill and need a nerf and so on?
Nope. Such people will merely find something else to complain about. theres already threads about people complaining about Guardian Fighters and Control Wizards.
In PVP most likely the new big boys will be when people start complaining about is GWF's.
I totally agree with abomination, Cryptic is doing what has to be done, ofc there will be flood of "im unhappy rogue" threads cause majority of players are playing rogues cause they are too strong, after patch it should change. rogues will be balanced with keeping their unique playstyle, they still will be fun to play, but not way too strong like they are now.

Other than unseating the perma stealth build, which I think many recognized wasn't intended, none of this is a big deal.
CoS 4 less charges? Big deal it's meant for finishing runners, not sPamming full health targets.
LA? Not up enough to make a huge difference.
I am still going to be whipping LB for sick dmg and glueing myself to people with DF. CoS will still do 50% of of someone's life.
These adjustments help. The rogue class has been broke for a long time and exploitable these fixes will only help the game which is exciting.
How can you say the rogue class has been exploited...when mearly all that's happened is someone or a few people have thought of a very clever spec to build a TR around which allows them to be in 'perma stealth' Your'l find only the top TRs or players that are extremely well geared can achieve decent DPS whilst in Perma stealth builds. Most perma rogues don't have decent damage or know how to play it properly. As for 1 shot executioner rogues., They do damage yes but are visible nearly 70% of the time. So stop with the crying or i'll just re'roll and join PvP premades with 5 GWF rocking Pu$$ie immortality mode. Then you might actually not care about rogues. I hope the nerf bat hits your class and I'll enjoy reading your crying and bitc*hing at trying to stop the devs patch not from going LIVE.

+1 some TR players were just playing them because they were OP.
I am sure they will stop, but they will just turn in to taunting kids saying "neener neener neener"... as point proven by a few posters already.
I don't think they will stop. I think most people who don't use perma stealth will adjust and I think some who did use perma stealth will find new builds. That means that abombination will go from gloating to crying again very soon.
Just FYI, I have a DC as main and my non stealth TR is only L 29.

the tears will never stop. Scrubs will be scrubs and wont stop crying untill they ruin all classes to oblivion. They just started with rogues but when there is nothing left to nerf on the class, they will go for another class (preferably different from their's) that doesnt need any nerf, but will get it anyways because they cried for it, and when nothing remains they may get to the point of asking to nerf their own class to the ground just because there is nothing left. We can only hope common sense works better than this for game devs but given the last patch notes i find it hard to believe.

Common sense? are you effing kidding me right? If they had common sense all the exploits in the game would be their highest priority instead of nerfing class hard not once but twice! You would think If they had common sense they would have had class balancing done a majority in closed beta, instead of doing it after launch. I sucked up the other nerfs and said ok, should be good now, only to see another major nerf and them wanting to waste more of my time and money, PW can kiss my *** and my money goodbye.

They will nerf that too eventually and then impact shot, etc... they will continue to nerf rogues until they are wearing a wet white paper bag with a big target on it while wearing a flashing light with a directional klaxon blaring off, as the rogue hits their opponent with nerf padded daggers.

Well I don't look as the changes to a rogue as nerf more as they are adjustments to fix them. They are the main broken class that needed attention and its great that they noticed that and are doing something about it. If they change something in my class then they do and I will have to find another way to do something different that is how the game works. At least my class wasn't broken and exploited is all and if anything should get some buffs.

Executioner rogues have no reason to cry.

This is what I was hinting at in my OP. The subject question was a bit rhetorical.
I still one shot cloth and leather left and right.
