Tested on preview with pre patch set mixed with new BoP items and the 4 piece bonus worked just fine.
    Thanks. :)

This has been answered already, use the salvager. Of course, as has also been mentioned, gold farmers can also use the salvager, or other methods.

TBH anything that reduces the amount of gold that farmers gets is good news, I'd much rather they got AD and allow the price of keys come back down to something which mere mortals can afford.

Have we had any confirmation on if this includes gyrm coins?

Pretty much my main question. I just spent mine, just in case. Will everything bought using things in that currency tab be bound? Like what about the past event with the masks and those tokens? Or is it just Drake/Unicorn/Lion etc and Glory?

I love seeing when players who have no idea how economies work make blanket statements like they are facts.

If they implement a salvager the prices of keys won't come down, in fact it will go up. But the price won't go up just a little, it will go up a lot. Because right now it is not "easy" to make AD in any systematic way other than opening your wallet and making a zen purchase. The salvager will introduce a systematic way to make AD and thus this will inflate the amount of AD entering the system which will ultimately lead to prices of items to go up. But with this ease comes much higher prices than originally because of player assumptions based on ease of transactions.

I predict and you can mark my words here.

If salvager then price of keys will go up 5 fold. Right now they are roughly around 40k ad each. Expect prices to reach 200k each.

So nothing will be solved at all by implementing a salvager. Other than larger amounts of AD floating around causing prices to increase.

Well, this is not entirely accurate. First, players will be able to get rid of unwanted bound purple items. I have quite a few in my bank - some which I previously used, but were upgraded - others (mostly rings and such) which I got as BoP from running dungeons. Now I will at least be able to get some AD for them, instead of just (semi-worthless) gold.

As for the amount of AD - true, the salvager will increase the amount of AD in circulation, but the amount of AD people will get from the salvager will be small, compared to what they could previously get at the AH, so he people selling the items will actually have less to spend.
    Hoping for improvements...

Thanks for the blanket statement reply like it was a fact. You even included the word fact in your opinion, where as I stated my opinion as, wait for it, an opinion and didn't label it a fact. I didn't call it an opinion as that is implied by the act of me posting it.

If you think keys will go up to 200k you're welcome to buy them at that price. I'll keep buying them at 37k.

So we have the keys price blanket statement like it was a fact, anything else? Ah yes, the "ease of making AD" blanket statement like it was a fact. I've got millions of AD worth of professions assets without spending any money on zen or AD.

The patch notes say "glory and seals" which should rule coins out. I tried to check on preview but I'm not guilded there and nobody has created any yet.

"Should" being the operative word here, we know how it goes with patch notes :)

Even if the T2 PvP gear becomes BoP, it probably won't be enough to make more folks slog through it, it's quite dull.

I'm still irritated, as I was about to use my spare character slot for either a GF or TR, and farm up a full set of T1 PvP gear for them with my DC. If I want to do that, I am going to have to spam a load of PvP and buy it all before this patch lands.

That's problematic because that much PvP at once makes the soul shrivel with all the inept obscenity-laced tweenrage that it tends to expose you to. Also, I still don't know which I want to play next, so it would be forcing my hand a little. I have three perfectly reasonably-geared characters already, who would be a lot less tedious to shove through the PvP meatgrinder. First world problems!

If you have made millions of ad from profession assets why would you even care about a salvager or even items from dd or bosses? You are either FOS or lying.

Have they implemented a seal upgrade feature? So I can trade in say 2 (or 5 or whatever) lower level ones for the next tier up or something? I've yet to use anything but the top two tiers of seals because the gear is garbage compared to random drops.

This needs to happen, more so then ever since they are going to make the lower seals pure junk...I mean not that they aren't almost worthless now anyway.

I didn't say I've made millions from profession assets, I said I have millions worth. I do not have much AD at the moment but I've been able to generate enough to buy these without paying any real money.

I didn't say I care about the salvager, although I do as it happens as I like AD as much as the next person, but rather discussed the fact that there is a salvager in response to people stating that seals and glory are now "useless".
