Now this shouldn't be hard to implement. - To give the author the right to choose how many players should be able to enter their foundry. This would also make it easier to make quests in general, perhaps even for RPers if they make it so you can have more than five people in your group.
What do you think? - Just talk with my guild about this, can't see any bad things about this one. Also easier to balance towards certain playstyles and whatnot.
That would be nice. It would also be nice if we could tell how many people were in the group, so we could base some spawns on that. I guess we could ask the player, but that seems so cheesy, and may not be accurate.

I thought about doing exactly this, but trying to take the cheese out of it by making the dialogue fit the context. Like "Ohhhh, I'm old and can't see so good, are you by yourself or are there friends traveling with you today?" And then use the answers there to indicate group size and scale accordingly.
I'd also like to have more control on Encounter compositions. At the very least how many, what type (melee, ranged, caster), strength (minion, standard, elite) & possible even pick what weapon skins are used. I'd really love to see a "Boss" type of mob added.. Something equal to the single player story driven bosses, which get their name and health bar on the top, a little cut scene intro and be able to chose which combat mechanics they use (even if it's just choosing from preset configs rather than each individual attack)

Well if they started by making the authors able to determine how many players should be able to enter a certain area, it would be a start. Even if only at current party size 5 as max limit. But so you atleast can choose, one player or more to be able to enter the foundry. Perhaps even that you must be two players or more to enter a certain foundry.

From what I hear the devs were toying with the idea of persistent open world / quest hub / guild hall style maps but I do not know how far along that is or if we will ever see anything like that in game.
