Hands raising from the grave...

Is there any way to make it so that you have a mob's arm coming up randomly, like in the 'admire' type of npc gesture where they put their hands up and put that mob below the floor on a plane below the normal floor to make it look like hands coming up out of the floor of the cemetery, crypt, etc.?...

Not an encounter. But you could do it by positioning an NPC in the "corpse" pose and changing the XYZ values and rotating it until it worked...

Only if you can get lucky on the corpse position it takes, though. And doing the rotation and sinking it into the ground would be a lot of tweaking and all from the 2D.

Basically, it could be done, but would likely be a monstrous aggravation.

I think you'd need something below ground for them to stand on as well. Usually if you sink an NPC below ground they'll fall and die.

Played around with this a bit. I think your best bet is to make a custom skin, make the head as small as possible and the arms as long as possible, drop the skinned NPC down about 7 feet on top on something, and use the Cheer Right Arm and Cheer Left Arm behaviors. They actually look pretty cool coming up out of the ground.
