Miscellaneous Treasure in the Auction House?

What's up with these being for sale? Are they used for anything? I'm seeing things like
  • Ancient Chronicle
  • Arcane Grimoire
  • Bent Fork
  • Chipped Orc Tooth
  • Dusty Tome
  • Embroidered Purse
  • Explorer's Journal
  • Flawed Sapphire
  • Golden Buckle
  • Inscribing Ring


What's up with these? Am I missing some quests or crafting?

    Pretty sad when you can buy worthless junk out of the AH but useful things like Identify Scrolls still can't be searched.

    They are not totally worthless. They can be sold for gold. That means you can exchange your AD for gold through the AH all by yourself.

    Pretty sure I was able to search the AH for ID scrolls.

    Actually, here's what I think it is. From time to time, I node farm for Rank 2-4 enchants. After a few zones, I'll loot nods and get these items (and only these items) from time to time. The Devs must have put in a script to dissuade node farmers. Of course, that <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> ends up in the AH. I just sell mine.

    At some point I was looting nodes and my bag couldn't hold the junk item that was in it, so I left it there. The node remained along with the junk item I left in it. Then I got to thinking: maybe this whole thing about anti-farming is just a misunderstanding on the part of people who came across such nodes that people like me left uncleared.

    Just a thought.

    Um isn't it the other way around. Aren't we all trying to exchange gold for AD since that is the only important currency and its easy to get gold and not important except for buying keys which is another way to save on AD and make more AD off gold.

    Nope sure aren't I listed some scrolls and was never able to find my auction and they didn't sell cause no one saw them. Very sad.

    Well this was quite a while back. If I think about it, I'll check when I get home.
