A full set gear or 2+2?

Is it better to have a whole 4/5 gear set or to have a 2+2 set? Like 2 magelord set + 2 champion set etc

    I facepalm everytime I see people running 2/2 sets without intention of running a full set later. I can with confidence say that using anything but 4/4 HV or 4/4 SW in PvE is a mistake. For PvP some other set might be viable to use aswell, but 2/2 set is never a good choice for any situation.

    450 of stat isnt going to be better than a 20-25%ish increased damage from high vizier, or 18% crit severity from SW, that effects other people.

    Atm i have 2+2 but havent earned the missing pieces for the T2 sets i have. I plan on possesing all the pieces for those sets.
