New way to increase difficulty

Getting easy? lets make it more difficult, how about add more mobs at boss

But now a new way, lets include lag! woohoo Cryptic

My system specs:
Intel i5 2500k, 4 gb RAM, Geforce GTX 650 Ti Boost, all updated driver i keep a good check, Broadband 1mbps bandwidth. Basically it meets the recommended requirements on game download page.

the reason i list my system specs is because there are people complaining that its a machine problem. Well i tried at full graphics settings and at lowest graphics setting and latency remains same. Its basically the actions that happen late rather than any stuttering i.e. lag

Not always i get a lag though, only when i am halfway through CN, ping starts increasing. Way to go cryptic, making Castle never a never by latency..

So you are having latency problems, and not fps probs? The graphics state affects only on fps, not latency, so it is never a machine problem. Could be either end of the network then, but 1mbps should be better than enough to play, if you aren't downloading a ton of stuff at the same time.

A few of Cryptic's servers are powered by potatoes. The lag isn't on your end.

    /showfps 1
    /fpsgraph 1
    /netgraph 1

These will help you determine whether the problem is framerate-related or latency-related. Either way, the game is very shoddily made both in their graphics engine (UI that takes massive amounts of processing time to render, for starters) and in netcode (a lost packet or two can totally lock up all communication for several minutes), so don't take it as a fault of your own hardware.

The stated requirements are a joke for reasons mentioned above.

I thought so too, so i disabled my Wi Fi and without any other downloads i checked, still there were late actions. It just feels bad when u can't do nothing even when u have dodged an attack and u lie there dead.. but thanks for understanding

when ever it occurs, i check my connection speed,it was 1.2 bps bandwidth and no downloads going still i used the /netgraph 1 command and it was showin a ping of 400-475. I wish cryptic did something about it but can't send a ticket cause last i sent was over a month go and still no reply..
