No mouse control during combats

Hi,

When I get involved in a combat, especially with groups of enemies, after a few seconds my mouse controls lock up, I can't aim, therefore, can't hit anything. Shortly after, I'm killed.

I'm tired of getting killed because I can't aim.

My internet connection is what it is, and so is my computer.

Any ideas on tweaks for Windows that could make this problem go away?

How about options settings? Anything?

I appreciate anything actually helpful. (buy a new computer is not helpful advice.)
