Augment + Linked Spirit = NO SOUP (BUGGED)

I was testing Linked Spirit and saw a crazy thing. If I summon my Floater (Ioun Stone of Allure), I can't get Linked Spirit with anything.... nothing... If I summon my Arms or Wolf, no problem...

Is this intended? Is this a bug? I think if it is Clerics should get a reroll as this would bring this feat void.

Anyone else have this problem?

Update: When the buff icon should appear the Augment Icon bugs, flickers, then returns, with no Linked Spirit icon nor stat increase in character screen contrary to when any non augment pet is out.

Further Testing Update: Augmented + Divine Daunting Light procs it... sometimes... but again, with wolf, never procs... bec that makes sense...

Further Testing Update: This feat is crazy buggy I guess?? Switched back to wolf, now proccing off of Divine Astral Shield... does it just pick and choose when it wants to proc?

You see, when you run a Linked Spirit build you basically become an Ioun stone yourself.
When you summon an Ioun stone it'll see that you already have an Ioun stone (yourself), become upset, and go on strike.

Been working fine for me. I always have my Stone summoned and all I have to do is go stand next to some people, SB, and see my stats change in character page...

Please do some further testing. Only use divine Sunburst to trigger Linked Spirit (or do the switch, doesnt matter).

Would be nice if you tested it using first you alone, then 2,3 and 4 others staying around (must be hit by your Sunburst). Should that do nothing to your or their stats, you might have found something bad.

I just read this thread and since I just posted my built on this forum with a picture included of Linked Spirit. It works fine with me and I use an Ioun Stone of Allure. I tested it at the trade of blades, and well it gives a lot of extra stats. In dungeons i get a huge bonus of it, form 6046 to at least 7200 power when hitting all the party members.

Think he might be talking about when soloing because I did notice this myself. You are linking with allies to cause the stat boost, so if you solo with a stone you have no allies and will not get the linked spirit. Solo with an actual pet such as the wolf and you do get the linked spirit buff.

Its works perfectly well in a group setting when using the stone because then you obviously do have allies to link with.

So it seems to me to be working as intended.

I agree, it depends on your party members and since a Stone or Cat isn't a physical pet you wont get much out of Linked Spirit

LS doesn't work for me at all 0.o . No effect on my char, no icon no stats, when u heal my rat he doesnt seem to hit more ( although it hard to be sure cos all the pets hit <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>)

I run a Linked Spirit build with an ion stone for groups and it works for me. Never tried it solo with a pet though

Try using sunburst when you are in a party, it must work then. Sunburst directly followed bij your devine mode. Or use bastion of health in divine mode with party members in the circle. It schuld boost your and the party members stats.

But even it would work on a pet it is still <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> since the boost isn't that high from 1 party member (= your pet)
