Character moving in Change Item Appearance

This only happens on one of my characters (my main) and is nauseating when trying to deal with it - When using the Change Item Appearance, my character is hunched over and swaying, but if I clear the slot she goes back to standing still. I have bad motion sickness and trying to change the appearance of anything while this is happening makes me queasy. Is there a way to get the character to stand still when I'm using this feature???
