Unstoppable does not need nerfed. It was nerfed once when they removed the default healing and now costs 5 feat points for a whole 5% healing. Quit complaining because you can kill everyone except a GWF who is stacking enchants.

I'm with this, pay to win or not, one person makes no difference in the end. Even if it were 5 people with the exact same gear, they still would have done just as poorly(possibly worse). Get in touch with your inner wiki and learn every class and how to beat them before QQing nerf.

Its funny that you mention this guild. I was just commenting on them the other day. I have gone against them many times in pvp. At times it was a full premade of Brostach. I was talking about their frequent use of what I call cheese tactics. Not that there is anything wrong with it persay just that they use good communication and lame game mechanics to faceroll people. Such as High Hp gwfs that pop indom and heal for insane amounts making it a horrible chore to try to kick em off a node. My favorite is when they run 3 gfs and all of them focus charge 1 person. systematically burning down your team 1 by 1 very quickly. I still say gfs ability to have high def and high dmg and chain stun people is a little over kill but hey. They allow it in game so why not take advantage of it. I mean nothing stops you from making your own premade doing the same thing. I also understand how much it sucks to be on the receiving end of cheese tactics though. All I can say is take it for what it is and move on to the next match till its a little more balanced like diminishing returns on CC and a cd of some sort on the healing from indom, or however they decide to fix it. If they decide to fix it ^.^

After playing hundreds of arena games I've been only #1 once... if you wanna nerf.. you gotta nerf TR evade or CW's teleport.

gwf are totally broken in pvp. you know it, I know it, everyone but PW knows it I guess..
I hit one with a 20k crit ice knife, not only did he take literally 0 dmg but he didn't get stunned either.
    100% broken

of course it's no worse than perma-stealth rogue throwing knives 24/7...

game is not balanced for pvp

And this is the problem with PVP in a game with PVE. You can never find a balance that works for both.

I can kill everyone, including a cheese Sentinel GWF with Regen gear and 6-7 Greater Tenebrous. That doesn't mean they're not OP as f*ck. When a class can spam an ability that gives you CC immunity and 25-50% damage resistance (on top of their 40%+ damage resistance from gear and Feats), while giving you temporary hit points, it's OP as f*ck. You can deny the fact that Sentinel GWFs with Regen gear and G.Tenes are not broken OP, but anyone who plays as one or has faced one knows deep down that they're the most OP class / build in the game by far.

So what does all that mean if we are not in melee range? Exactly...we are useless UNLESS we get into MELEE range. Hence the CC immunity and slight HP regen. We get hit from a distance by every class except GF. Quit face tanking the dude with the big sword.

Yeah...we won't even worry about you being able to hit for 20k at range...won't mention stealth...but if you are in melee range of a GWF then the GWF is OP...yeah...

GWFs are nuts, but I'm finding my ways of getting around them now.
The only horror I had was 4 GWFs and 1 DC in a match, that **** was scary.

Learn to use your Sprint bro. You can't get away from good GWFs. They just Sprint at you, CC lock you, then burst you down.

I have several tools to deal with GWFs, but I still need to outplay them. Any wrong move and I get knocked to the ground, stunned, and bursted down. A tanky class with over 40% damage resistance, 25-35% Deflection, Sprint, CC immunity, insane health Regen, spammable defensive buff and temporary HP should not be able to burst people down in 3 hits. Yet good GWFs can and do.

LOL You can do a 20k crit with ONE Power, nevermind all the other things we CWs can also do, and you're complaining that you can't kill a GWF while he is Unstoppable? So they need to nerf a class because you do not want to work hard and actually pay attention to the target you are attacking. Teleporting/Kiting for 2-3seconds until Unstoppable is down, is just too much to ask? You just feel because you have a 20k hit, that you are always entitled to a free kill.
I think CWs are so spoiled, that they complain the instant they have to put an ounce of effort into something. Learn to pay attention to animations, wait that extra second or two for Unstoppable to go down, and enjoy your 1-2 shot kills.
However, if you play a CW like you're in god mode, and stand toe to toe with melee targets spamming MM and your encounters, thinking that your RoE+Icy Knife will always save you in the end, then you will die....often.

learn2read? I said he took 0 dmg and wasn't even stunned. what skill of mine reduces dmg to 0 and makes me immune to cc? oh that's right none. oh I can teleport, except I can't when I'm permastunned.

oh and that 20k hit? requires full stacks of arcane mastery, combat adv. AND a lucky crit. otherwise it only does about 8k. and oh yea IT'S A DAILY! you can't spam it like perma-invuln GWF. it's a farking DAILY, do you even know what that means? so bite me.

Sentinel GWFs ( i think) gain Determination from being hit, as well as dealing damage. keeping Determination up as quickly as possible is a part of their combat strategy.

My GWF can cast Unstoppable back-to-back usually when I'm the tank and fighting mobs but I can't see how someone would be able to in only 1-2 hits.......maybe he has a long term dmg effect on him adding to the determination.

No, those are Destroyer GWFs. The last Paragon feat lets them gain Determionation by dealing damage. Sentinels just get a bonus to their defense. Any Sentinel that is stomping you in PvP is either outlasting you, in which case it's you own fault for trying to out tank a tank, or killing you with expensive gear enchants.
