GWF Determination gain mechanics

I did a search and didn't find anything already posted about this, so here are a couple of quick questions regarding determination gain:

1. Is mitigated damage included in the calculation for determination gain? In other words, if you aren't wearing armor and have a low defense, do you actually gain determination faster, or is it the same?

2. Do number of hits give more determination, or is it based on the raw amount of damage taken? For example, if you get hit once for 100 damage or twice for 50 each, is it the same amount of determination?

Anybody know the mechanics of this stuff? :)

Honestly, couldn't say. Nobody really pays attention because we build determination so quick, it's hard to tell. It does seem the harder the hit, the more Determination is gained. This can be proven in PvP. Taking a Stealthed LB from a Rogue almost fills your bar almost completely.

Thx for speaking up, shultzilla... I'm actually playtesting an armorless GWF right now to see if it makes a difference. Only level 22 ATM, so it's hard to say one way or another until I can get some gear that has a high def/AC enough to test with.

Update: as many of us suspected, determination gain is drawn from damage suffered and not from number of hits. (Which is kinda like DUH, but still a necessary base to work from) Still working on if an armorless GWF gains determination faster than one with a high def/ac.

Also, wondering if enemy level has something to do with it, i.e., lower level monsters than the player give less determination?
