HP vs. deflect

HP vs defense

or HP vs deflect-defense (because ive seen sets that have deflect and defense but no HP)

lets not talk about crit/power/recovery here thanks :D

P.S i cant actually get the meaning of deflect here, because in other MMOs deflect is for dodge. and here it is like damage resistance? correct me if im wrong.

    Deflect is damage mitigation. If you deflect, you reduce incoming damage for a value of your deflection severity. For a wizard, HP runes are much better, cause wizard defence stats are very low.

    ahhh let me clarify, so deflect acts like a crit? you deflect at chance only? or you can deflect all the time

    Yes, it's like crit and have a chance.

    Deflect is a terrible defence stat for wizard. Not only is it chance based bu the base damage reduction from it is 25%. So to get the avarage damage redction from it, multiply your deflection chance with 0.25 and since we don't have Dex as primary or secondary attribute it becomes quite bad.
