Odd problem with launcher

Out of the blue, today when I start the game, the launcher goes to the task bar and I can get it to appear on the desk top. With some trial and error I was able to type in my password and get the game started from the task bar but this blows my mind.

Anyone else have this problem? If so where you able to fix it? I appreciate any help that you can give.
