Savage rune dont triger on companion

I have 2 necklaces on companion, one has a savage rank 5 but the rune doesnt add the bonus. I put the rune in the necklace during the event.

    Are the necklaces blue quality or lower?

    They are purple necklace of the grand necklace tier, my pets only wear bling bling, like flavor flav :D

    And the bonus shows up if you wear the necklace yourself?

    The necklace is unbound and am not planing on making it bound just to test, since i can sell it if i wanted..
    eventually..
    not gonna happen.
    TBH it doesnt really matter, am just putting it out there, the bonus doesnt trigger on pets (tested on my 3 diff pets, cat and stone not included).
    Maybe someone with a necklace they are using on themselves can answer that.
