So T1 is BiS for GF?

Hey all,

I've been doing a some reading on GF and I have found that a lot of guides that people have created have said that the Stalwart Bulwark set (T1) is BiS for GF? Is this true? I would find it quite disappointing if this is the case, really makes doing T2 a lot less rewarding, unless I can get a group together for Dread Vaults and CN it seems like it's pointless doing any other dungeon.

Any thoughts?

    Assuming you believe T1 is best in slot, you can still do all the T2's you want and sell the T2 drops to people who believe the opposite, making you a rich man, indeed.

    It's really a matter of opinion. All of the t1 sets are reasonably solid while t2 is almost all badly designed. Defense and Deflection all hit dr way too fast to really worry about. You end up choosing between personal dps or group dps buffing from your armor. Personal DPS should have better returns if you queue solo and end up with sloppy or new players. If the rest of your party are just monstrous demi gods then you can go party buffer.
    Use the <removed exploit lead-in> to interact with the auction vendor.

    Each set has their benefits & works well with specific enchants/builds.

    Players like Stal set because of the massive Power from the bonus.

    I was considering adding another set or two to my bags so I can play around with the Valiant and KC 4pcs :P

    Actually can probably get kc, val, and HGen for ~200k in total atm.
    Use the <removed exploit lead-in> to interact with the auction vendor.

    This is why I still run the Knight Cap set 4/4 Bonus of 60% Power / 25% Defense.

    It is BiS if you're using awesome greater or perfects tene's ( pvp since noone cares about pve GFs deal with it ).

    Actually I normally DPS the boss and hold aggro. My DPS is close to a TR on single target because of Knights Challenge & Anvil. (200% dmg Anvils @ 25% is huge. 114k+ CRTS.)

    DC/CW deal with trash while our GF's / TR's deal with elites/bosses.

    I tend to run with 2 TRs so I get stuck kiting on bosses like FH or SP :P
