I've been working on this map on and off for a good month or so, I have made many large changes to the story and maps and i'm hoping to get some input on it, so if you wanna trade reviews or re-review it in exchange for a re-review of your map than that would be great.
This quests main focus is interesting encounters and good visuals, the story is there and has plenty of dialogue but it is not meant to impress, maybe eventually I will flesh it out and try to improve it but for now it is not my main concern, I will list reviewed quests and pending quests on the list below for those wishing to trade.
-Reviewed-
Null.
-Pending-
Null.
If you have extra input beyond in-game reviews than feel free to give me your thoughts on this thread, and thanks for taking the time to read this post.
And a special thanks to the people who helped me improve my quest and get the 20 plays I needed to be daily eligible, I couldn't have done it without your support.

Mostly because my quest was in beta before, reviews on the full version at this point could possibly be very helpful considering how much extra work has been put into it. As for your sticky I hadn't seen it I will look into it thanks.
I tried playing through Shadows of Albanie this evening, and was really impressed by the detailed environment. The empty village had me hooked! Great work!
However, on the first "defend yourself" while following the path north out of the village, I somehow got really ganged up on by mobs. I don't think I was rushing through the encounters and created an overlap. But as I launched into the first combat, suddenly the ground around me was covered with red circles... and I was very quickly dead.
I was playing on a well-geared (all T2) Level 60 Cleric. So the one boss in town that kept sucking me in and knocking me down was a real pain. (I hate that mob in the Foundries. Easy enough on my other characters, but a long, wearisome fight with a high level cleric.) Coming right out of that fight and getting ganged up and slaughtered outside the town kind of did me in.
So I stepped out of the quest for now. Did I just happen to run into a snag with your mob placement? Or is it possible there are overlapping or stacked encounters here? Is it just a Foundry issue for high-level characters (which I've stumbled into a few times)?
Anyways... I'll go back and try it again sometime with another character. I really did like what I was seeing, and look forward to the rest of it.

What may have happened to you is that haunting shades spawned and you didn't notice them, they spawn on the road before the final boss in Albanie and if you pulled them up further the encounter would be quite hard that is for sure.
And yes there is encounter stacking but I play test all of it on my level 60 and the various foundry characters you can have, if I ever stack (which is is usually only on bosses) it's usually only a standard and an easy encounter together, that being said the quest is supposed to be on the harder side of things and perhaps I should warn people beforehand.
I might add a slider eventually to make it easier for people who do not want the challenge, something else I just remembered is that while I play tested some of the encounters Cleric was generally the hardest class to solo with, so that may have also impacted your attempt.
I had just crossed over the bridge when it happened. I had not reached the first bend in the road. As I saw the mobs spawn, I attacked at range; my feet were literally just beyond the bridge where the road begins. Hope that helps.

Yeah that group is the same as the first 2, just 2 gloomblades and those are a standard single encounter, but they do hit hard so you have to be careful especially since they are invisible, that is probably the main reason that area is hard, I will also look into making the foulspawn encounter something else in Albanie, the attack that pulls stuff in can be frustrating and isn't a very interesting ability.

I'm a streamer and I know it!
