    Can we refer to Neverwinter NPCs and/or other Forgotten Realms individuals within our text descriptions (Dialogs, Quest or Item descriptions)?
    i.e. Orc Leader Vansi Bloodscar, or perhaps Lady Aribeth de Tylmarande ?

    Quest Name: Tower District Travails
    @yourname: @Celantra
    Short Code: NW-DE8A3L2BE
    Quest Type: #Story, #Combat, #Spoof
    Average Duration: 35 min
    Amount of Combat: Good Amount (There are companions to assist as well.)
    Starts at: Tower District
    Mission Summary:
    Strange things are happening in the Tower District. The Many Arrows Orcs have disappeared, and while some consider this to be blessing, most are looking to discover what has happened.

    Sgt. Knox has sent you to the tower district to find out where the Many Arrows Orcs have gone, and what kind of threat this may portend for the people of Neverwinter. The guard investigating the disappearance is Guard Keldom, who is stationed in the Tower District Guard Offices in a quiet corner of the Tower District. Meet him there to discover what is known so far.

    Author tips/hints: Don't worry about losing companions they reappear after combat sessions. Follow the road to make sure you don't miss anything. I have had reports that if you have your graphics turned all the way down, you may not see the road.

    Here is my entry

    Quest Name:SOME LIKE IT HOT!
    @yourname: ironmaidenz
    Short Code: NW-DL27DBQDC
    Quest Type: Dungeon, Story, Combat
    Average Duration: 25-30 minutes
    Amount of Combat: Not many trash packs. Two quest related mini bosses. One final "boss" fight.
    Starts at: The well north of Fallen Tower Tavern, Tower District.
    Mission Summary:
    The old well north the Fallen Tower tavern recently collapsed revealing a forgotten network of old castle dungeons pre-dating even the Tower District itself.

    Ever since that happened we starting getting reports of women folk being abducted at night from the surrounding villages of the Enclave and especially the Tower District.

    We sent an advance party to the abandoned well near the old tavern where the Many-Arrows Orc's have been acting suspiciously, there is something down that well those orc's don't like. Meet up with our advance party, find those girls and find out whats happening down there.

    Author tips/hints:
    Follow the quest story - its simple but you can't skip bits.
    Combat can be as hard as you like, or very hard if you aren't paying attention (Cross pathing patrols)
    Boss fight can be very hard or relatively simple. Might take a couple of goes (if you die talk to Uggligr again)

    ...my point exactly. Where were the Drow and Spiders which is what the submitted quest is based around??
    It appears that the submitted quest has absolutely nothing to do with the theme "takes place alongside the events of the Tower District."

    Edit: Ah, westerndragong207 - since you're the author, I guess you'd know. Based on your summary there doesn't seem to be any relevance. Maybe you should expand on the details a wee bit?

    Quest Name: Laboratory of the Mad Psion
    @yourname: @winin
    Short Code: NW-DIE8OOAWK
    Quest Type: Balanced (combat/story)
    Average Duration: 20 min
    Amount of Combat: enough to keep a dwarf happy
    Starts at: a door in the safe part of the Tower District
    Mission Summary:
    When a wealthy elf contracts you to recover her unstable brother from their lost home in the Tower District, you find that orcs are not the biggest problem.

    Through intermediaries, the man in grey has contacted you again. This time the client needs help recovering her lost brother. It seems he wandered off, and she suspects he went to the ruins of their old home near the Cloak Tower. The brother is a spell caster with psionic power, but the trouble is that he lost his mind in an experiment gone wrong. Who knows what is real and what is just a figment of his imagination?

    Author tips/hints: You never have to go to the combat parts of the Tower District, so you can play this quest with a character that is too low for the zone.

    Cloak Tower: Cult of the Dragon

    @yourname:@Izatar
    Short Code:NW-DEOLOEN6F
    Quest Type: solo dungeon delve
    Average Duration:30-45 minutes
    Amount of Combat: Heavy
    Starts at: any city gate

    Mission Summary:

    The Cult of the Dragon quickly occupied the Cloak Tower after the defeat of Vansi Bloodscar and the Many Arrow orcs. This time they are being lead by an actual dragon named Dreadfire the Usurper!

    Sergeant Knox has formed a rag-tag party of adventurers to go into the Cloak Tower and evict the cultists and their dragon from the tower.

    Author tips/hints:

    This is a dungeon delve style quest with a lot of combat. It can be soloed by any class at any level, however some classes may find certain battles difficult. Bring lots of potions and some injury kits!

    There is an optional side-quest that entails finding skill nodes. If you leave an instance without finding all of them, you will be warned. Once you leave an instance you cannot go back and finish the optional side quest. There are also a few other easter-eggs that are not on the golden path, so exploration is rewarded.

    Please remember that foundry authors have no control over loot drops, loot rewards, monster difficulty scaling, mob ai and pathing, and various types of glitches you may see while in combat. I worked hard to reduce the chances of glitches, but you still may encounter a few!

    Good luck to the folks doing this. Looking forward to playing some of these this week! :D

    Didn't like how mine was panning out, in terms of how it fit with the Tower District, so revamping it as something else not related.

    Starts at: Protector's Enclave
    Mission Summary:

    Assistant Lugan will make arrangements for you to meet with Sage Ramiel at his residence in Protector's Enclave.

    Author tips/hints:
    - You will need at least 5 open inventory slots.

    Quest Name: A Dwarven Rebellion
    @yourname: @Antonkyle
    Short Code: NW-DD4MQBRFI
    Quest Type: Story, Lore, Combat
    Average Duration: 20 minutes
    Amount of Combat: Heavy in parts, but I would say a medium amount.
    Starts at: World Map

    When you agree to help lead an attack of mercenaries to aid the Dwarfs you are unawear that this is a quest that could change the face of Faerun.

    Quest Name: A Strange Merchant
    @yourname: @TripsOfThrymr
    Short Code: NW-DAK2BFO2X
    Quest Type: Story/combat
    Average Duration: 37 minutes
    Amount of Combat: Player selectable in most zones. Final zone is challenging but not overwhelming.
    Starts at: Any zone transition
    Mission Summary:

    You Dream.

    You are not yourself but rather a tall, blonde young man. A merchant. You sail the Inner Sea, buying and selling with a sixth sense of who has a need, and who can satisfy that need. You make many friends, more than a few enemies, and uncover lore that most had forgotten.

    Flash forward.

    You are now an old man, happily retired to the Tower District. Something is wrong... something from your past is asserting itself. You have strayed, now you must find your anchor.

    Blackness.

    Must find Liana...

    Author tips/hints:

    The quest can be played in a linear manner, but also offers significant opportunity for players to explore to learn more about the storyline. In many cases, combat can be avoided by use of magic, stealth, or exploration. The quest can be soloed with any class + companion.

    So what happens now? Do these quests automatically get "Featured" or something so they actually get plays? Or do we hope enough players read this thread and look them up by the short code?

    How does the rating work on peoples submissions that were already established quests? IE the ones that have ratings from before the contest ever began. Does that all get reset for this and these only count new votes? edit: I know of at least 1 that is in the thousands since it has been around a while.

    The rankings will be based on adjusted rating, so hopefully this will even out over the week. If not, we'll assess it again at that time and make sure everything gets a fair shake.

    I don't see why not. I edited mine slightly last night based on some feedback, and the publish appears to have gone through.

    Now does the "Submit for Feature" button take a copy at the time of submitting for feature, or do they take the latest version when they actually review and decide to feature it? That I'm not sure.

    I've heard people say that it takes a copy straight away. Never done it myself though. Cheers for the reply.

    I believe that the copy is taken when the quest is actually featured. You will have two versions of your quest. The featured version which is locked, and an editable one that you can still go in an change. The featured version remains locked and is never editable.

    Oh boy, going to be hard for those going against a quest that has been out for 3 months...no offense to Trips, but I just can't understand why the entry was allowed to stand when it clearly wasn't in the spirit of the guidelines.
