Length vs reward questions...

cesmode8cesmode8 Member Posts: 384 Bounty Hunter
Hi,
So whenever I try to complete the daily foundry, I always go for the 15-20 minute foundry missions. Because they are the quickest way to get the AD for the daily. And I also do not think that the chest at the end of a 1.5 hr foundry mission will be worth the time.

So, I ask you...if you have completed a longer foundry mission(over an hour or something), is the reward in the chest worth the time? Is it a green? Or can it scale up to at least a blue or even purple?

Foundry does not provide anything worth calling loot!
This is due to the hefty abuse that it has undergone, which is a real pity as some of the writers are very good!

    Pity :(

Would appreciate a dev response to this.

I've gotten a few blues before just from doing those quick 20~30min ones for Foundry dalies. Despite how rare they drop, they only sell for 1k AD tops. So really the only Foundry items worth looting are the rank 4 enchants/runes and the blues.

would be nice if they replaced the incresed exp event on the foundry with double lootand made increased exp in the foundry all the time that way you could level up a toon on it instead of the same crappy storyline over and over.

you can lvl up a toon on pvp because it gives 3-4k exp every match (7-12 min) most times amd you can queue up all the time. (368 exp/min)

normal questing you get about 3k a quest which you can do 3-4 in about 20 min (525 exp a min)

foundrys you get 2-3k exp for a foundry which on average takes 20 min (125 exp a min) or if you hit one of the increased exp events then it is 250 exp a min for up to an hour still half that of normal questing.

There are people who enjoy doing the Foundry missions just to see what people come up with... instead of just for the shinies.

I'm finding some of them quite interesting.

Foundry quest are just amazing, but i also feel the need to have some sort of reward at the end of it. I'll be more then happy to do Foundry quests all day if there;ll be at least some enhancements in the end chest or wards/shards. Make it so that after a foundry mission has a certain number of reviews and enters the 4-5 stars, the reward chest to give something meaningful.

It would be nice to get some kind of tokens at the end of foundry quests, which you could exchange for some equipment, crafting mats, specific mount or something like that. I think that wouldn't make foundry quests feel like grindy farm, because they're all different and many of them are interesting as hell (so you don't do the same thing all the time to get the reward you want).
Foundry authors get more plays, reviews and players get rewards + non grindy fun.
My 1st Foundry Quest - The Hunt (NW-DLQZASUFM)!
Check it out! Suggestions, Reviews etc. are welcome! :)
