Gear Transmutation

hi community, I have a question. will the enchantment stone on my armor that I want to "change appearance" (left side) disappear if I do a transmutation? i know that the item/gear on the "appearance" (right side) will be destroyed and everything that's attached to it. i just want to double check this coz i don't want anything to happen to my greater soulforged.thx.

    simply put, no the right side will be destroyed. left side will just look different
