Building a stone

So I'm finally able to afford to buy the Ioun Stone after weeks of saving, but I'm unsure how to gear it out. I've heard Eldritch and Blue Fire Icon are good for a DPS GF, but apart from that I'm kind of lost. What did you guys do?

Also, Defensive slots on my gear (not the stone)....HP or Deflection?

    I went with 2 R7 Arcanes for Offense to give +185 Recovery x2.
    and on Def I just went with R7 Profane +185 Def, if you put HP on there you don't gain that as it's not a stat or use to not be (haven't tried since a few patches ago

    and as for gear slots still not 100% sure what I wanna add but I just use 2 Hrimnir pieces and for icon once I get it to lv25 I'll prob choose Greater Blue
