Question about leveling ability scores

After the nerf to some skills a few patches ago I was thinking about respecing my character. With my original ability score rolls I'm not sure I'll be able to change the scores without rerolling my character from scratch.

So my question is, when leveling ability scores at level 10, 20, 40, and 50, when you get 2 points to add to abilities, can you add the 2 points to 1 ability? The reason being is that I want to add all 8 available points into 1 ability. I have 3 level 60 character, but I don't ever remember trying this when leveling.

For example: My original roll in my 3 main stats, including racial bonus, was 18, 14, 14. After adding all ability points I ended up with 20, 20, 20, which is what I wanted at the time. But now with the changes to skills I would like to change the final ability scores to 20, 24, 16. The only way to achieve this is either by adding all 8 optional ability points to the middle stat, if possible, or reroll a new character with beginning stats of 14, 18, 14.

The 2 points have to go to 2 different abilities.

Also, I'm pretty sure you can't get 18,14,14 unless the 18 is your primary stat. The best you can do (before racial bonuses) is 16 in your primary, 16 in one of your secondaries and 12 in your other secondary. A secondary however will never have a higher starting total than your primary (before factoring in racial bonuses).

When you use a Re-Training token, your Ability Scores will go back to the base values, and you will have a chance to re-distribute the score increases you earned while leveling. You cannot, however, re-do the Base Values you rolled during character creation.
