It must have to do with a combination of teleporters/mission objectives. Because it certainly isn't a graphical error.

What it does is basicly drop my fps down to a few fps/second if I have a current objective, then if I teleport maybe 50 feet to the west in the map, the lag dissapears. It is just in a certain teleporter area.
Might try to bypass it by just setting up an area objective.

Fixed issue by moving details further apart. Wierd. Must have been a glitch with loading textures.
Several teleporters do have a wind-vortex sound associated with them and if you have shadows and particle effects turned way up perhaps the teleporter animation+sound itself (+ surrounding details) is pushing you over the top? After teleporting you could try walking back slowly to the original teleporter and see if frame rate drops when you get close.
