Just what the title says guys.

I have seen a lot of very VERY creative, and awesomely built foundry maps, and its no secret the only 2 PvP maps we have are an absolute embarrassment to any kind of development. They are boring and thoughtless. Atleast the maps could be pretty to look at, nope..ugly, small and gawd awful boring.

It would be amazing if you would allow Foundry PvP maps. Honestly, I don't even care if we would get PvP rewards. As I'm sure there are many more like me, I just want to PvP, and some different scenery, larger maps, different mechanics will keep me playing for a looooong looooong time.

What do you guys think?

Hell..now that I think about it, this could be absolutely amazing for you Cryptic. I'm not being an *** here btw, speaking hernestly. But you could allow NW players, to do your job for you. You too busy with other things to make new maps? Perfect, allow Foundry creators the ability to do it for you. Let there be no rewards if its too hard for you to implement it. But maybe every 2 months for example, find the Foundry pvp map with the most "likes", and make it the new addition to NW. Name the map after the person or something.

+1 and they should be able to make dungeon maps with notes or ideas on how the bosses should work.

    HUGE +1 to this idea..

I never understood why the DEVs didnt utilize their best resource POSSIBLE: Their own player base...

There are SO many very talented players who would spend hundreds of hours DOING THEIR JOB FOR THEM. THe only thing they would have to do is monitor for exploits then...

New content/Maps: Let the players do it for you... New PVP maps: Throw up the top 5 on the shard and have ppl vote on the best 1, every so often put it in rotation... This cant be hard...

New dungeons? Let ppl create them and throw them up on shard... Take the top voted one and plug it into the game.. Hell you can even create a cycle where you throw out old dungeons and replace with new ones...

Create an "Event" around this and give a special title or reward so people can grow their epeen by having bragging rights... Could call it "Dungeon Master" LOL!

Meaning they created a dungeon incase you missed that...

    ^this

Granted I know nothing about programming, but by letting the foundry creators do all the hours of planning and making a nice new map, I think it would be easy for them to just grab it, and paste it into the server as a rotation, and like you said, just check it for bugs/exploits.

I'm really surprised more people aren't posting on this, as all I hear is complaints about the lack of content, all of which are valid.

I agree. You have countless people that love doing this and it makes Cryptic's job a lot easier. Plus, if players don't like the map, they can rate it.

I just done see why they wouldnt have a "Dungeon Creator" type event where for the next say 2 weeks they will be taking submissions for new dungeons in foundry... Then after two weeks, they will post them up on the shards and let people play for say another 2 weeks, vote and the winner gets added to the live game AND the title "Dungeon Master" granted...

Do this every month-2 months and you have TONS of new content available....

The biggest problem with Foundry is the lack of rewards but it REALLY is the strongest tool this game has and if utilized... will make this game VERY attractive to alot of players...
