Underwater cavern - critique?

I am making some finishing touches on an underwater cavern in some dwarven ruins. Any suggestions on how to make it better? I wish I had fish to put it in. I tried swirling leaves but didn't have the effect I liked. I want something floating in there (besides monsters!) I plan on changing the teleporter/entry way into the water. Oh, and this is a work on progress. I don't know if they are in the video, but a red flaming barrel is my way of marking some areas in 3D mode. And I know there's a hole in the wall in the one room. Ha!

FULLSCREEN helps see water effect better.

Very clever, great looking map, I love the seaweed effect, nice to see someone thinking outside the box.

Floating things.. Barrels (ofc), crates, footwear, planks of wood, logs.
I don't know how steam vents would look if you could fit those in somewhere like a volcanic vent.
Netherese orb has an animation that may look like its floating somewhere, not much of a random object though, maybe as a button.
Maybe some of the clusters may work like the bugs or fireflies/sparks.
I was going to suggest placing a pirate ship in so you can see the hull from underneath but as its a cavern....maybe on your next underwater map.
Invisible wall as a floor + your floating npc to vary the heights maybe...or floating dead bodies face down on the surface.
Upside down hanging herbs as plants.
I think a couple of the hanging chains have some movement and may look ok.

Hehe, makes me think of Monty Python's Holy Grail... 'What else floats in water? ... 'very small rocks, churches!'

Thank you so much for the suggestions! The netherese orb does fit with my story. Could put that somewhere. I had no idea the chains had movement. I think I might throw some in with the mining equipment I placed. I did not think to change the height of the swimming NPCs with invisible walls. Thanks!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OosYFs3cyZ8 Good day.

Ok that wasn't very helpful. If you're interested in the steam vents they should be under Dwarf or Dwarven.

The prints look awesome, though I wonder how the effect would look for others PCs that can't run the game at max :P (That does look insane though.)

I imagine it can't be too hard on PC. :S Only used 2 low fog effects. Those are the PC destroyers if too much!

Not the FX, I meant compared to your graphics I wondered what it would look like :P, It would be freaking epic if it looked that good on mine, though I'm certain it wont :(

I had to do an underwater level for a different game, but seeing that you have seaweeds I would recommend placing higher concentration of bubbles right next to them to better sell the underwater effect. You could also try using some of the green smoke effects near plants. Overall looks really cool!

Put an invisible wall up there at the top and a couple patrolling chickens so it looks like they are swimming ducks?

    Anyway, it looks fab!!

And maybe also put a 'path' once in a while as invisible walls so that it seems more like swimming when they're not only walking on the bottom of it?
