Visually stunning. And it wasn't just the maps themselves, the effects used were perfectly matched...all except when you return to main room after your night's kip. You still had the 'busy tavern crowd' (no idea what it is called, but the jeering, whistling, generally drunks being loud one) playing, which didn't reflect the mood/situation. The combat was also perfectly balanced to my solo L60. Challenging at times (potions were used, died once), but never frustratingly so.

Really everything was so sumptuously satisfying both visually and audibly (definitely 5 star worthy), I did at times wish the setting had a less frivolous story being played within. But don't get me wrong, the story was a frivolous delight in it self and I will definitely be waiting on tenterhooks for the next chapter.

    Thanks, karitr. :)

And, yes, I agree with you about the ambient sound in the inn at the end, it isn't at all appropriate for the situation. But, neither is any of the other ambient human sounds. It was a tough call, in the end I had to settle for a mildly inappropriate ambience over glaring silence.

This was an enjoyable quest to run; however, it would be a whole lot more enjoyable if I were able to finish it. Three times now I have gotten past the point of "subduing" the dwarf and his comrades only to get stuck on the "Compose yourself and talk to Kayla" step.

The dialogue proceeds to the point where she mentions that she is giving me a key and will reward me in the morning. At that point, I'm not able to close the dialogue with a response to her - I have no choice but to click on the "Done" button. Twice I've deleted the quest and re-taken it to see if I hadn't missed something in the cellar portion, but to no avail.

Before I delete it for a third (and final) time, I thought I should come on here and see if there was some dumb thing I've been overlooking. BTW, if I leave the instance and return without deleting the quest, I find that it has put me back at the step of placing the cheese on the platter and all the dwarves are back at the table - this represents quite a dilemna as I no longer have the cheese, and am unable to get back into the cellar.

    Thanks, Zovya! :D

Gormiepooh, that sounds most unfortunate. Nobody else has had this issue... could it be that your inventory is full when you talk to Kayla? She does actually give you a key item, so that may be the issue. That part of the quest definitely works for everyone else.

Hey man, I loved the quest! Really fun, engaging and creative and most importantly - funny!

I was also unable to finish quest due to item reward (chest, I'd assume) not spawning in the end. I hope these things get fixed :)

I gotta say first of all this quest is too long. I mean it goes on and on. Its a nice little story i guess but i was tryin to do it for the bonus xp for tonight yeah right....forget that. I THOUGHT the thing was OVER when you defeated the "Big cheeze" but NOPE keeps on going. i mean really? Next time i guess i should just pick short quests But i found this quest overly tedious, the maze through the cellers wanst so much fun nor the fact you gotta back tract too and a lot of the enmanies felt overly tough. well i guess i'll end up leveling up with this quest anyways (Hopefully) but see this is the problem i have with a lot of foundry quests. ever heard of the saying keep it simple? it just felt overly long and tedious.......at least unlike the other quest i kinda knew where to go.......but wish i had picked another quest the only reason i did was because it was listed as being in blacklake district......ugh.

I am sure you ment well and put a lot of time into it but i just found it rather tedious expecially when i was trying to get through it to get the bonus xp for the foundry hour.......the foundry event should be 2 hours instead of just one honestly. woould have made it if it was actually DONE after you the beat the big cheeze. oh well.......

Finally completed it.........ok well at least i got a ton of XP for it (grrr would have gotten even more if i had completed it during the xp bonus)

I mean it was interesting in parts the effects were neat its just to me became overly tedious and while i guess the point was to keep you on your toes it in my opinon just became too long winded. But hey at least i got through it.

maybe ill try the other quests during the bonus xp weekend coming up :-p

I found this quest really quirky and bizarre, but fun. I agree that all the backtracking was a bit much. Maybe have a teleporter appear after the Big Cheese to take you back to the inn would be better.

    Spoilers:

The Cheese dream was totally wacky. After going to the VIP room, the whole thing was a chain of "What the %@&# is this?" But not in a bad way.
