Best way to unlock last two profession slots?

I have several toons all of which only have Leadership currently, and was wondering what was the best way to to unlock last two profession slots:

Complete a task with at least a 100% speed bonus
Complete a task and earn the Tier 3 result

I read in this thread:

http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?342821-Complete-a-task-with-at-least-a-100-speed-bonus

that I could buy two purple Heroes (shudder at 300000AD cost each) to unlock the 100% slot by doing the 10 min (down to 5 min with two heroes) "Feed the Needy" job at Leadership rank 1. Would this work?

But how am I going to unlock the Complete a task and earn the Tier 3 result?

And is there a more efficient way to do this? With many toons and no specific main I am not really going to benefit a huge amount from a couple of high-level professional assets or tools, other than the unlocks.

If you want to get the speed bonus using Leadership I think you have to use 2 heros.

But if you don't mind it taking a bit longer it'd be a lot cheaper to buy 4 blue workers of a different profession. Tailoring and mailsmithing (and probably platesmithing) have an early mission where you can use 4 assets to gather for 6 hours. You can fill it up with blues to cut it down to 3 hours and get the 100% speed bonus. Again, its not as fast as 2 rare workers. But its a heck of a lot cheaper.

I did the "four blue worker" deal. I bought 4 master platesmiths at 50k AD each and had my 100%-Speed Bonus.
Since the relevant Job "Mass Production" ist very early accessible i did this for my main Charakter and both Twinks.

After that i offered the workers to my friends at the guild - not a very profitable way since i charged nothing for it, but i like to help my buddies. Right now we are trying to gather tools like anvils. But it appears nobody has rare tools.
The tools are needed for the second "special" slot. You have to build something, improve it to green status and then you must wait, because in order to advance the green thing to blue status you need one of the changing tasks at the top of the list.
This slot is imho very difficult to unlock.

As for you - if you are in a guild, ask around if someone can borrow you blue (or purple) workers. Do not demand it, do not ask for them as a gift and dont do this if you just joined a guild - since there is no guarantee that you will return the workers the other people in the guild must trust you very much to give you their workers.

Are you alone? Look in the AH and take the cheapest offer. It does not matter which profession you choose, since the unlocked lot will stay. Afterwords you can try to sell the workers to minimize your expense or even make a profit. Or keep them for future twinks, if you can afford it. If you wait long enough, you can try to level blue workers into a purple worker and then sell that one - profit should be guaranteed. But THAT will take a lot since you have to reach a very high level in the relevant profession.

Me - i will stick with my workers since as GF platesmith is my profession of choice. And when Modul 1 comes out and it contains a ranger, i will have one more twink needing the extra slot :p

As far as I'm aware, the only way to do this is with one of the rare crafting tasks.... they're the only things that even give the possibility of "ranked" results. And you need multiple blue & purple (preferably all purple) tools. If I'm recalling the numbers right, doing a task with four purple tools gives you a 60% chance of getting the "rank 3" result.

Leadership does not have any tasks like this, as far as I'm aware.

edit: Alchemy rare tasks ("make a batch of _____ potion") can do this - you don't get stronger potions for higher rank, you get more of them. Of course, alchemy tools are more expensive since they're new.

Thanks for the helpful info. I will just get the cheapest set of blue (non-leadership) workers I can and unlock an extra slot on my characters that way!

I am sure if you take out your credit card and purchase a bunch of Zen, PWE will allow you to finish this achievement.
