Campaign Background: Prologue to the Story-Driven Action Campaign "When Vultures Circle".
Once one of the greatest houses in Neverwinter, the Astern estate has fallen into ruin. With half the family lost during the defense of the city, the remaining heirs can all but look on as the family fortune is taken from them by tricksters and bandits. Are you interested in offering a helping hand, or lining your own pockets with what's left of the Astern fortune?

Author's Tips/Notes:
Select 2Player mode if you're questing with another player or feel up for a very hardcore challenge.
Read lore items (although not essential to the main quest it will help you find bonus content).
Varied mob encounters diversify the combat experience and help Clerics/GFs solo the map.

Mission Summary (SPOILERS):
You are hired by Lady Elisa Astern, who's family has fallen on hard times, to reclaim her eponymous brewery in the Blacklake District from the clutches of Rebel looters. While visiting her at her townhouse, you meet with a cast of interesting and complex characters, each with their own opinion on what to do with the family's dwindling wealth. While clearing the complex of Rebels, you uncover a conspiracy against Lady Elisa. Various documents found at the Astern Brewery tie members of the household with the Nasher looters. The question is... who do you trust and who do you not?

Campaign Background: Chapter 1 of the Story-Driven Action Campaign "When Vultures Circle".
The Astern Brewery has been reclaimed, but there are greater threats to the family's fortune than Nasher looters. You've found evidence that confirms a mounting conspiracy against Lady Elisa Astern. The question is, what do you do next... Inform Lady Elisa? Confront Viscount Silverton? Interrogate Seneschal Whitemane?... And where do Lieutenant Graves and Lord Burkhard sit in all this...

Mission Summary (SPOILERS):
Having cleared the Astern Brewery of Rebel looters, and with several incriminating documents on hand, you travel to the Astern Townhouse to inform Lady Elisa Astern. On arrival, you soon realize a party is in full swing... with Viscount Silverton at its center. Lady Elisa is unwilling to listen to you while she has so many guests to attend to, leaving you to discuss matters with her younger sister, Georgie. Georgie suggests you gather more evidence of Silverton's treason with the Nashers from his country manor, as its the only way to guarantee Silverton faces justice. The party is the perfect time to infiltrate the Manor because the Viscount and his legendary bodyguard, Grell Stormbreaker, are socializing downstairs. She warns you of Councilor Morret, a high magus in the service of Silverton, before you depart.

Outside the Silverton Estate, you manage to find a way through the Estate's outer walls and into the Manor. After collecting a selection of papers pinning Silverton to the rebellion, you uncover a plot to use Silverton Manor as a Nasher stronghold and to launch attacks against Protector's Enclave. What's worse is that Silverton's wizard, Councilor Morret, is training the household guard in all manner of sorcery and has himself fallen to the dark, alluring power of Necromancy. The adventurer defeats Morret in Silverton's librarium and, while reading through Morret's diary, learns of a plan to kidnap Elisa!
