My suggestion to bug fixing - reward AD for finding preview bugs

I think the last patch has shown that Cryptic's software testing is on wobbly legs, so here's an idea.

Roll out your patches to the preview server earlier and the first 20 (or more) players to report a bug or an exploit get a nice AD reward if it's confirmed. This should help to avoid a mess like Gauntlgrym next time.

Of course this would require that you acutally read your tickets, cause if you did then the rollback for example could have been avoided (I know several people who reported that exploit during closed beta).

This sounds like a really good idea. Having the first X number of people to report an exploit get a reward is clever since it encourages everyone to make a report since they have a decent chance of getting a reward.

    +1

I tried to find a negative to this. The only thing I could find is that people would moan on the forums about not being the ones to receive AD. But, that's what people do anyway so. *Shrug*

How about this for a negative - in software as buggy as this, you'd hyperinflate the market overnight.

Cryptic would have to work pretty hard to match the amount of AD flowing in from bots farming chests and whatever this week's exploit is.
