Colored Chat Text (non-shift clicking)

I saw someone yesterday do a "LFG" call in zone chat, but he managed to color his "12k GS TR LFG" blue, as in "hey [12k GS TR LFG] CN 2/4"

Anyone know how he did this?

    He named a blue companion "12k GS TR LFG".

    Nope, no idea. Wouldn't say so even if I did. Really don't need chat 1000 colors. Cryptic just needs to disable linkable items in zone chat, and just one color. Of course, it could be what orodalf said. I have seen people doing that.

    Oh yeah that makes sense. It was acting like when I scroll over a blue skeletal dog.

    I agree about the chat colors. It would be fine if there were at least a 5 second timer between messages, and if we had designated chats for Trades and LFG. Zone chat could just be general questions, tips, and chat.

    Yeah, I forgot to add, disable coloring chat text and linkable items in zone AFTER they add trade and lfg channels. Not sure why they haven't yet.
