So is any of the GG gear new? Or just recycled gear currently in game?

I was under the impression that the gear from GG was going to be completely new gear. Is that the case, or is it just gear we could obtain already, but now just have a new way to obtain it?

One other thing, what is the t2 gear from GG equivalent to? The gear from the epic 8300 GS dungeons?

The boss drops a shard and a random tier 2 item (We got a dread vault t-2 Cleric weapon drop) Chest gives 7 Grym coins for the "Upgraded" PVP gear which has a unique look and mre or less is the same PVP gear with better stats.

Ok thanks. So sounds like alot of the stuff will be upgrades for anyone not fully geared in t2 gear or CN gear then eh?

yes if you are not currently in BIS t2 gear and CN rings/belt/neck/mainhand/offhand...this will be an upgrade...if you already have the mentioned pieces..this is a complete waste of time as far as PVE porgression is concerned.

The PvP gears are new and slight upgrades of the old PvP sets. They have an additional set 4 bonus added onto their original PvP set 4 bonus. The PvP weapons are also new and equal to T2 weapons. Some are actually really good, but they're still inferior to the Ancient weapon sets from Castle Never.

The loot that drops from the dungeon that opens up only for the faction that wins is the same exact gear you would get from any T2 dungeon. No point in winning the 2 phases and do the new T2 dungeon if you're already geared out in T2.

Wow that's really smart Cyptic, way to keep your players considering all the dungeon and AD exploits which made sure most of your player base at lvl 60 is pretty much geared to the fullest... let's not bother giving them anything new to work for.

The GF PvP gear is...rubbish for PvP. The weapons, I can see being nice enough.
