Chat log forced scroll down

Is this a new hidden feature with last update?, i recall that if i wanted i could scroll the chat log at ease by just selecting some random line, now it force scroll down making it very hard to search for people to send a private tell.

*EDIT* now it seems to works normal, but for over 1 hour the chat log kept scrolling down like it had a mind of it own! :O

    Yeh the UI is bugged. Sometimes it doesn't let me scroll at all until I relog or restart.
