I named mine Erlap, an anagram for Pearl, the name of my recently (end of last year) deceased dog.

For Fallout fans that fondly remember Dogmeat one option might be Dogmeatless.

For the historically inclined, perhaps Napolean Boneypart.

In the spirit of Jobartik, how about Goner or Zoner, the two pets I'd immediately send away and resummon....

Zoner always seemed to be the one that just vanished off screen without any warning....then while standing around wondering where the heck he'd gotten to, you start to see the "Taunting attacker, Master..."

And sure enough, we'd start heading for the zone, 'cause you knew that train was a-coming.

My cleric named hers Blaze but after reading this thread I think my Rogue or CW (dunno which I'm going to give him to yet) is going to name hers McCoy (head nod to Star Trek) :D

Wait, did I just read this thread right? Nobody has said Seymour yet? The shame...the shame!

Excuse me, but I need to go cry after remembering Seymour.

    Kill'Bones

My Dwarf GF isn't the sharpest tool in the box :D
So he's likely to have the poor thing confuse it's name and the most common command yelled at it...

    I went with McCoy.

Seemed appropriate with the blue and the bones kind of thing...

    Boner.

    Edit: Ninja'd!

I've tried. The game says the name is profane. Being a person not particularly creative when it comes to names, I just went with Bones.
