One of the things I've always loved most in MMO's since I started in 1997 during UO was PvP, the term PvP wasn't even around then, they called it PKing, since the MMORPG world was just getting up and running. I always have considered myself a hardcore pvper 1st without a doubt. UO was pvp heaven, DAOC had realm vs realm and the pvp was great, then wow came around and the arenas were very fun, and even have become part of some professional gaming organizations.

I know this game has tons of balance issues, lack of classes, but hopefully in the future they start working them out. Other than the new Guant patch, there currently is a lack of endgame content and no formal PvP system/reward system in place at the moment, this would be another way to find something to do within the game PvP wise that was worthwhile.

What I propose will take kind of a bit of cooperation, but I think it'll be fun for those of us who want organized PvP and ratings.

First I would set up a google document with a spreadsheet of teams and maybe a website or just email. But have teams register online with name and members, and set up some sort of buy in with teams, a fee that they pay to join the league. Then basically set up times when these premade teams will be queuing perhaps a few time slots during each day.

Basically each team keep tally of who they fought and who won/lost. With a minimum number of matches needing be played each week in order to qualify.

Then after the end of two weeks or one month, we go by the teams who played the minimum amount of games with the highest win percentages. And they would take home the prize money, maybe divide the winnings based on where you were ranked. For example 1st place, 2nd, 3rd. Then top 10% get so much AD, top 25% get so much AD, top 50% get so much AD, and the remainder get so much AD. So everyone gets something.

Anyway I'd be willing to put in the time for our server. Anyway I would like to hear the PvPers thoughts on this, because it will take a lot of cooperation from everyone to make it work. But I'm sure if you like organized matches/standings it will be a lot of fun.
