graphic problem - long hair & robe collar

This is just a small graphic issue, but it's been buggin me for a while, and since it still seems to occur with my epic lvl 60 robes, I'm a little frustated.
My character has long hair, I wear no headgear (I'm really glad about the option to disable it). After a certain level, all robes I picked up had a collar, and now both the collar & the hair are party visible, which looks pretty ugly:
I'd be happy with either fix - hair always overlays armour, or hair is hidden under the collar.
