Do you have more than one character?

I have my first 60 and am now regretting that I didn't roll a different class. I feel fairly motivated to do so, but I'm not sure what incentive there is in having two characters or if it's worth the effort for another.

Do you have more than one? How do you find it?

I have a L60 GF and a lowbie CW and TR. The TR is a lot of fun, the CW is a bit tedious, but people tell me it gets better as you level up.

I have 2 fully geared lvl 60 characters (Rogue and Cleric). They were both overnerfed, but because of my gear and skill, I still do extremely well with them both... especially compared to most of the bad players in this game.

If you want to level up another class, just do it. Only took me roughly 3 days of semi-casual grinding to get to 60. People who go hardcore do it in 24 hours. It's fun playing different classes in this game.

I have a 24th Lvl Thief and a 15th Lvl Great Weapon Fighter. (Made a new fighter after the last Patch) I like them both. The Thief is great when I want to fly through enemies like a lawn mower and the fight to smash my way though any obstacle.

Right now I have a Human great weapon fighter and a tiefling trickster rogue.
I am going to roll a drow, prolly a devoted cleric, maybe an archer ranger too.
Next I want a Dragonkin avenging paladin, then a Genasi destructive warlock; lastly, a Deva War Marshal.

    We can dream, can't we?

I'm not sure I understand. You regret not rolling another class. Isn't that incentive enough? If not, nothing we can say is going to help much.

Many of us just like playing multiple classes. I don't understand how people can play only one character day in, and day out. Everyone is different.

There is some benefit in being able to twink out your new character, though I wouldn't call that incentive, just a perk. Only you can decide if it is worthwhile.

Whats the point of rolling another character the lastest patch has caused more issues. So i am waiting until the game either dies or gets fixed why waist time in a character then the paragons come out they changed nerfed i dont see the point in waisting time until stuff gets fixed.

Since I typically play several MMO's, I've have to stick to one character per game.

I have only one level 55 Trickster Rogue and I haven't time for another. I have a life.

However, I do spend an inordinate amount of time crafting many, many pairs of pants.

Plus copies on the test server

& I might try a DC that thinks about HoTs, but I need Battle Cleric (mace/warhammer/flail), War Wizard (Timestop/fireball/the works), Warlock (summoner/eldrich chains) classes soon™

I have a 6o TR main and a 22 CW that I use mostly for extra leadership slots and invocation. I may delete the CW and roll a warlock when they come out though.

    Only 1 character, a level 25 cleric.

After a stint of random rogue blaming/scolding me for his death (well sorry, I can't heal you if you decided to head off away from the group, pulling tons of mobs back to us while calling us noobs, standing in the lady orc's red circle of doom and decided to stand outside the boss' room doing nothing but scolding me/us after dying...) in the first dungeon, I'm kinda scared of doing dungeons anymore hence the stalling of my adventure.

Thankfully, I can still play a wee bit of the invasion event. After that... I don't know.

Absolutly yes. I have many class, and that is the best you can do. There are a lot of reasons, more spaces for proffesion, more farm, more gold, more knowledged about other class, more inventory space, more AD ...but the most importat, MORE FUN. Its completly different play with a gf or dc, every class deserves been played.

GF 60 (GS ~11.5k)- It was my first character and I have mixed feeling about the class. Level progression was a bit tedious and I did not feel like I was getting stronger as I leveled up. I was under the impression that it is a lot of fun to play with a group of friends but not so much in a PUG. Mt. Hotenow was a pita. Felt very weak in later levels until I started getting some pink gear. This might have changed since the last patch.

CW 60 (GS ~9k) - This was my 2nd character I leveled to 60. It felt like a bit easier and for more comfortable leveling process than the GF grind. My CW started to shine at later levels especially (Mt. Hotenow for example, was a pain with the GF but very easy with the CW. I actually felt I am getting stronger by leveling. Loved the control aspect of the class, as well as throwing mobs off of cliff walls (cheese ftw).

DC 60 (GS ~9k) - Leveling was slow but safe. Astral Shield pre-patch was making the GF's tanking ability fade in comparison. I don't think I died a single time while I leveled through the content. Damage output is rather low but has some nice rolls that take good care of AoE. Dog just kept bosses stunlocked against the wall while I was sitting pretty in my blue shield which was up non-stop and keeping me and my dog well fed.
Otoh I feel this class needs some serious reconsideration by the developers. Right now it seems extremely underwhelming and I would never run a random PUG again as cleric. It is fun with friends/guild though.
My hat is off to all you PUG clerics because it is the most unthankful job in the game and the last patch made it even worse. I am a healer at heart and play healer in most other games but I'll leave this one on hold until this class gets buffed. Again, this is just my opinion and yours may greatly differ from it :)

TR 60 (GS ~9k) - I leveled this one after the patch. It is fun but not what I had expected from what I've seen pre-patch. TR and CW have very similar damage output at the moment it seems, and CW has much higher utility in dungeons. I feel this class could use a buff - especially for late PVE dungeons.
But again, leveling was a breeze and quiet a lot of fun due to the high damage and mobility. Can get a bit hairy some times if you face a lot of Adds but the bosses are a walk in the park and they melt like butter.

So far most fun and rewarding class was the CW for me personally. Followed by GF and TR in 2nd place and the DC takes 3rd and last place.

You shouldn't let a few bad apples discourage you from enjoying something. It is hard at first, but it gets better if you stick with it through the bumpy start. The only way to avoid grouping with 'those kind of people' is to make a premade with people you know, but the only way to get to know people is to get into random pick up groups, which by nature will force you to play with the kinds of people you don't want to.

So anyway, what you do is add the fails who trash talk to your ignore list, add everyone else to your friends list, ask the people who are nice to you and know what they are doing if they want to group when they are online (very few people will say no to a pocket cleric). And if no one is on and I don't feel like dealing with someone else's children then just stick to the foundry. There are some really great foundry quests. And if you don't find one you like, you can make one you do! ^^

its actually hard to be healer here (anyone who is trash talking about cleric didn't play as one). You can't just stand "near" the group and click on their avatars then use "heal skill", no, you have to be among them and to heal particular one you have to aim on him and then use skill (it's hard sometimes when tons of mobs are around all players and they are running like chickens with they head cut off, you might accidentally heal person with full hp).

I don't know anyone in this game. I did tried saying hello/goodbye/thank you in the few skirmishes I've joined but no one ever replied. I guess I'll keep on trying to make a bud or two, like you've suggested. Oh, I did added that rogue to my ignore list after it got too nasty. Hard to concentrate otherwise. So sorry for hijacking the thread!

@cloud990pl - Yep, sadly I can't top people up like red potions. Gear issues, maybe.
