Just 3 more days and Neverwinter will officially be launching! Woot! Can't wait for this game to finally launch!

The game is going to be amazing because they fixed all of these bugs, exploits, and botting...

Please point out an mmo that doesn't have bugs, exploits and botting.

These arnt the only exploits this is just another small list of exploits in the game still. This on top of that event crapness and all the other issues means another 2+ MONTHS of beta. Well full launch and us still doing the beta just as we been doing for awhile already.

Seems that there are two types of players who talk about exploits, those who do not know how or what the exploits are, and those who got caught using them.

I am still trying to wrap my head around the difference between this open beta and the launch. Will the classes suddenly become complete and have their paragon paths? Will we suddenly be able to buy training tomes for our companions? Will there suddenly be actual variety in gear? Will we finally get customer service (been a week now with an open ticket and I doubt there will ever be a response by now)? ...and so on and so forth.

Will anything change at all besides the removal of the words "open beta"? I fear we all know the answer to those questions...

Ah yes, one thing really changes: once the game is "launched" the excuse will turn from "it is beta" to "no mmo is ever complete".

    Yup, can't wait!

Here's an idea.. lower the blood pressure and walk away.. or stick around, complain about the game or blindly defend the game, that seems to be the new trend.

In fact, brb; I got a Kickstarter idea for the next greatest MMO ever! "Forum warriors Online"!

Even so, no MMO is ever complete, you know.

All this really means is the end of justification of anything that could possibly go wrong actually going wrong with the blanket clause of "its beta".

Agreed. See, if they don't magically COMPLETE the game and instead offer the "final product" as still having "coming soon" parts in the character builds and paragon paths, then it will finally put paid to the "open beta" argument. Now, having said that, if they magically do offer all these things, then maybe I'll be inclined to say, "ok, so it was an open beta". However, I doubt it.

You should put out a "Forum Warriors" trading card game first...

Aleast every other mmo after beta FIXES the known EXLOITS, ISSUES, BUGS, and such. THey dont launch with them they get freaken fixed first. Thats what people are going to be pissed about the most after launch. And this new event come on you want new people to see that lame event thing.

    ... that lame event thing.

    Invasion.

Yes, it is an invasion ... of sorts.

And why are you not in there protecting Protectors Enclave (SP) or Conclave ... or whatever, Warrior?

I thought that might be part of the higher support packages.. top being able to fly me to you and buy me dinner. Then I will expand with action figures and maybe movie rights.

    Too soon?

Now you know more about Perfect World.

Can't blame dev on this. It's good design, just bad management.

No, I blame Cryptic. They're the ones who are incapable and/or unwilling to fix bugs that we've reported to them in a timely fashion. PWE is just their greedy publisher who pushed them to release the game too early and overcharge people on everything in the game. However, it is Cryptic's fault the game isn't nearly as polished as it should be with less than 3 days left to their "official" release.

The Castle Never exploit has been going on for at least 11 days now. No bans, no fix. They put in an invisible wall as a lazy "fix," but it's easily bypassed. The botting is getting out of hand. They do nothing to stop botters from farming nodes all day, everyday, nor do they ban them. As for bugs and other exploits... well, some they have fixed and I applaud them for that. But there are still way too many in the game that they've been very slow at fixing.

Yeah, no game is perfect, but the least Cryptic can do is be more vigilant in fixing their game, especially when we've been reporting all of these bugs and exploits to them for weeks.
