Hi, there :)

First of all, sorry for my English (rather "Czenglish") and for putting this thread in here, but I doubt people with no issues read technical support forum.

The thing is, I can't make this game run fluently. My FPS drops from +-50 (when I'm alone) to 20- while in party, which makes the game nearly unplayable. Is there anyone with ntb spec
    i3 Processor
    4GB DDR3 RAM
    GeForce 610M
    Windows 8

who makes this game run correctly? If so, could you please post scrn of your video settings? And yes, I did make this dedicated card work, integrated is not up.

Thank you for your help.

hey i dont know fully what system you have but if you open the Nvidia control panel, you need to go into manage 3d settings, there is a tab in there program settings, you need to add the neverwinter "gameclient.exe" and then change the perfered graphics card to use the nvidia card, apply, save, close and restart neverwinter. if your laptop uses optimus (which i think all nvidia with intel processors do) it doesnt know that neverwinter is a game. least thats my experience

Mobile cards are just not as powerful... your mobile 610 is less powerful than a GT230 desktop card. Try turning everything down, then systematically bring each setting up notch by notch, until you get the balance of appearance and performance that suits you.

    Here's a quick reference: http://videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_list.php

some mobile cards arent powerful yes, and his is probably on par with just running it off the intel but it still might help get alittle something. i am running on a laptop but i have a 675 which runs everything at max settings just as well as my room mates desktop who has 2 cards

I'm not saying a notebook video card *can't* run games well - I'm saying that, generally, they are much less powerful than a dedicated desktop card, and that you shouldn't expect too much from the. In terms of performance, a 610 is worlds behind a 675. Rule of thumb is that anything with less than a '5' as it's second digit is a value/budget card, (at least for Nvidias).

610m will probably play the game you wont however be able to get 50 fps constant. Sadly 610m has about half the horsepower of a ("midrange") 8800gt from almost a decade ago.

Turn everything all the way down, choose the lowest resolution, and see if there is a max FPS option, you might be able to stabalize it at 30fps.

This was the very first step I did when I installed the game :)

Thank you all for your reactions and responses! However, turning everything down to the lowest possible setting resulted in... no change. Like a week ago, the game worked fine. Now, it's all laggy and with loads of delays. I don't know, I'd like to hear some 610M-owners' voice :/
