I need some reviews and plays on my Foundry. I asking politely to please have some people do some plays. and some nice feedback this is not a trade post. Just a author asking for some people to check it out. I know I am not a popular author and I see this. But come on I thought we was all about giving the little some help too. My foundry details are:
The best way to get plays is to do trade reviews. I know some folks will say they will play yours but don't but still you have to begin somewhere.
Also join NW_Foundry in the game (details are in my signature) and ask people there to check it out, they usually will. They're a great group of folks.
There is a rumor floating around that I am working on a new foundry quest. It was started by me.
Good Points:
1) Solid enough basic story premise.
2) Nice use of environment, took me a while to recognise it as a pre-build map.
Bad Points:
1) Dialogue needs work to lift it a bit, lots of spelling errors, and not enough story depth.
2) Quite a few "floating" or "clipped" items, so a few passes of fine tuning would make a lot of difference.
3) Markus has his default name, not a custom name.
I'd add more Items to interact with throughout the map, some could be integral to the Quest (a few more things to collect to summon/destroy Markus for example), some could just add depth to the background story (a dead adventurer with a scroll with some legends/tales about Markus etc.).
The Blood-Pool is floating, there's at least one Brazier that is floating, and one more that is "clipped" and mostly hidden under a Rubble pile, but the flame is still sticking out.
There's nothing really bad about it, and the negative points I did mention could all be fixed by a few hours "fine tuning".
I gave 3/5 Stars.
A rework of the dialogue, fixing of the "floating and clipping" errors and a bit more story depth could lift that quite easily.
Once thing I would consider is having the Items you need to collect be there to open a doorway to Markus' Crypt, and then do a small, heavily detailed, custom map for the Crypt.
Good start to a quest. Not sure if you intended for it to be finished or not, but it didn't really feel finished. Some of the fights were pretty tough on a level 60 Cleric, but not impossible. I'll send my other notes in a forum private message.
