So I'm about to revisit my gwf and was wondering how does this feat work? Says 'Increases effectiveness of constitution by 5\10\15%'.
wich one?:
1) Gives 15% hp.
2) Gives 15% of current hp bonus. example u have 15 con wich gives u 10% hp, then 15% from constitution bonus is applied like 10*0.15=1.5%.
Carnage TR Dragon shard - retired? hell yea it's retired along with Nevewinter
There are two stat modifiers to Constitution for a GWF. GF has better benefits for Con then that of other characters.
1. I forgot to double check when I ticked off the 1 pt. for HP. Ergo, only the old information. The quantity of HP gained from your constitution isn't overly useful. A 1shot is a 1shot. The 3% feat bonus with 2 less Con then another person will likely give you more HP.
2. Resistence Modifier. GWF has this. Essentially it states that the amount of Resistance ignored for defense get's a boost. Now, the only resistence stat that we have that we can see is defense resistance; a modified value of our defense value that further adjusts our damage. According to some theorycrafts, Resistance defense is calculated from a different base number then our Defense stat modifiers. Basically it's a less gainful way to create a ArP substitute, but at a futile rate. A 10%Arp could yield an easy 500 less defense value, which then scales your damage up quite a bit. Switching from a captstone Destoyer/instigator to a capstone destroyer/sentinel yielded a good 1500+damage on IBS with the Sots modifier at lvl 60. (10484 average IBS crit, to 12080)
The Resistance modifier at 10% provides a different modifier value. From what I can see, you want to stack power with it, which makes other scales not quite as beneficial. I haven't crunched all the numbers though. Where you can deal ArP and scale it with a 5000 defense value, you still end up with using something like 1625 for the Defense resistance modifier, +/- the natural defense of the class. I still put one point into it though on my new GWF.
Very very simple. You gain X% of the value to the stats that Con attributes. Of course that doesn't mean anything, since you don't know what these attributes are. It just scales badly for everyone not GF, and kind of allright for GWF's, if you specialize right. The damage modifier is only really worth it when you end up min/maxing the other damage potentials.
Coming from experience at 60 and lots of playing, this feat is pointless. Stack STR and DEX, taking the natural adjustments given to the other ones and calling it a day. The feat is pointless. Put your points in Steely Defense or something else early on.

I was looking into it cause my crit is at 52% with TR in group and wanted to respec out of 2% crit chance feat to something more usefull now. like 10% Con bonus or steely defence. Still looking into con bonus cause seems nobody knows how that one works and I dont want to spend 200k AD just to find out.

I'll assume you already used the free respec. I had that feat STACKED before, and I put NOTHING into it this time, and guess what, no difference noticed! So, though I can't give you figures and stats, I'm pretty sure it's basically pointless, and my CON was lower than it was. Go Steely Defense, at least 3, then focus on damage if that's what you want.
That feat gives miniscule returns from what I've seen and heard. If you are concerned with HP, the one that gives a flat % of hp would seem to be clearly better.

Question is: How does 'Constitution Focus' feat work?!
