80+people aoe'ing mobs with little to no health at all makes it impossible to tag mobs to get credit for loot.

Yup, agreed. Us rogues get pretty much nothing because we don't have those AOE's.

Not much better for a GF, half a dozen CWs standing around spamming AoEs that catch them as they spawn in. Most insta-killed, everybody else fighting over the scraps.

Gotta agree with this, not one for complaining much but this event is CW only, everyone else can suck it..
That aside i thought the enchants/items/bones that drop would be a little more exclusive than they are now, ive ran one event so far and grabbbed a mighty 6 bones so by the end of today could have a couple of skeletal dogs if not more..
The whole point of an event like this that people crave that rare pickup but they are too cheap to get and thus lose any real value..40 bones for a dog and i already see 10 on the auction house with steadily sinking prices..

Ramp it up Cryptic, more health for mobs, more mobs, more portals, more bones needed for items..

The pet is terrible, make it a green augment pet and up the bone cost to 100 at least

I like how the grand 'game-launch event' is like 50 mobs with 1k hp spawning at static spots...it's not even progressing, and the worst part is the rewards.

The companion is worse then any other blue level damage companion (who even uses damage companions?) and there is one two stat rune, that only one class that min/max's will want...like..wat?

Yeah, I fully agree with everyone else in this thread. The problem is that you can't hit anything due to everyone else (read: CW) unleashing their AoEs. So hits you get are basically lucky hits...

Would've been greater to either:
a) make it a solo instance where you fight off these hordes (difficulty increases when your party becomes larger)
b) create more instances of the capital city, so people can spread out across these instances

Why not just add a raid boss who would rampage across the city. These mobs are not even dungeon quality mobs just fodder. I currently have 12 bones (run a TR) where people are selling their newly purchased dogs on AH already.

Wights go in on the 20th with the inevitable annoying aoe lifesteal. Unless they have more hp then prenerf Kurrandax they still won't live more then a few seconds.
