Unable to inspect swords and shield

I was trying to inspect my shield to see how the dye would look on it, but when i inspect it it just shows my character... no shield or sword.
also, could you add something to allow us to inspect an item and see how it looks before we purchase it? if you're going to sell 2m AD items that are purely for the looks at least let us inspect them first?
