Gateway Choose Task Button Not Working

Since the big patch this week the Gateway has become extremely buggy. Prior I was very happy with using it on my tablet, which became my main way of connecting after having trouble with my phone.

On my tablet & phone I cannot use the Choose Task button. The button & text are not lined up except when I turn the tablet (a Kindle Fire) to landscape & even then the text turns blue or disappears & the button blinks blue but nothing happens.

I have found that I can go to the Tasks tab & select jobs there, however.

Even on my PC, I am now having to go to the left hand menu & select the skill then assign the job.

The Choose Task button is completely inoperable on all platforms I use.

My PC browser is Chrome.

On my HTC One VX phone I've tried Chrome, Opera, & the built-in browser to the same result, that is when I'm able to log in with the phone at all. It often times out even though all other net operations act with good connectivity at that time.

    I'm having the same problem on my PC regardless of browser being used. My main browser is also Chrome, but I have gotten the same error in IE and Firefox. Currently on my laptop and running into the same error.

    It'll let me collect a task, but it won't let me choose a new one.

    I am having the same problem as well.

    I have tried on my iphone 4 with Safari, my PC with Chrome and IE.

    I can collect rewards from previous tasks but cannot start a new task. I click on the button but nothing happens.

    Does anyone have a temporary solution?

    I have htc one - s using google chrome , android system
    i can collect results but not choose tasks
    Glad to see others are posting as they can only fix what they know about.
    I am enjoying this part of the game I hope is fixed soon

    Same here. PC Browser in Chrome and IE. Phone Note II standard browser. Choose Task button does nothing.

    It's gotten slightly better since my OP. A work-around I've found is to go to the tasks tab then select the profession. This always works.

    Now I'm just dealing with the missing tasks bug, where it bugs out to show no/only rare tasks available in all professions when you have open task slots and log into the game itself.
